Understanding the Issues
Your child has always been bright and inquisitive, yet she is failing academically. You have worked hard to instill self-confidence, but your child is constantly anxious and worried. It can be painful and frustrating to watch your child struggle. We can discover the underlying issue and what to do next.
Our Process
1. Assess
We collect information through a thorough interview, academic records, objective tests and questionnaires to determine the best way that your child learns, how they think and what they feel.
2. Put the puzzle together
We then analyze and synthesize the information to assist in objectively determining the best ways your child learns and how they think, as well as what barriers impede your child’s learning potential.
3. Diagnose
Once we have synthesized the data, we are able to determine whether your child has a learning disorder, ADHD, Autism, or other diagnoses that lead to his or her unique learning style.
4. Provide Recommendations
We will then provide suggestions based upon the data as to what should be most helpful to your child’s learning and social functioning. Not only will we suggest if academic accommodations are appropriate, but we will also recommend other strategies to help your child’s mood and behaviors.
